Reservation System Update & Misuse Concerns
Posted on Mar 28th, 2025
Dear Residents,

We have noticed an increase in misuse of the reservation system, including booking months in advance, reserving more than twice a week, and adding non-existent users as players. Due to these issues, we have had to remove certain users who were flooding the reservation grid far in advance, preventing fair access for others.

As a result, the advance reservation limitation has been reinstated after it was removed by error. Additionally, all reservations beyond April 4th have been canceled and will need to be rebooked as those time slots become available.

If you were removed from the system due to misuse, you will need to re-register to gain access again. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in maintaining fairness for all residents.

Sincerely,
Board of Directors
Termination of Shared Usage Agreement with Southwyck 4
Posted on Mar 27th, 2025
Dear Silverlake HOA Residents,

We are writing to inform you that the Silverlake HOA Board of Directors has voted to terminate our shared usage agreement with Southwyck 4, effective immediately.
This decision follows repeated attempts to engage the leadership of Southwyck 4 regarding concerns about the visible deterioration and ongoing lack of maintenance at Morgan Park and the Southwyck 4 pool, located at the intersection of Morgan Road and Magnolia Parkway. Unfortunately, despite bringing these matters to their attention, no meaningful steps have been taken to address or improve the condition of these amenities.
At Silverlake, we are committed to the regular professional inspection and maintenance of our community facilities to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. The shared usage agreement includes provisions requiring proper upkeep of amenities, and unfortunately, that standard has not been upheld by Southwyck 4. As a result, we can no longer support the continuation of the agreement under these conditions.
As a result of this termination, Southwyck 4 residents will no longer have access to Silverlake HOA amenities, which include:

SILVERLAKE ASSOCIATION FACILITIES
• Swimming Pool – 2715 Southwyck Pkwy
• Sand Volleyball Court – 2715 Southwyck Pkwy
• Baseball Field – 9903 Bailey Rd
• Clubhouse – 2715 Southwyck Pkwy
• Creekstone Park – Magnolia and Lawson
• Main Park – 2715 Southwyck Pkwy
• Sedgefield Park – Paigewood Drive
• Soccer Field – 9903 Bailey Rd
• Splash Pad – 2715 Southwyck Pkwy
• Stonebridge Park – 9903 Bailey Rd
• Tennis Courts – 2715 Southwyck Pkwy
Additionally, Silverlake residents will no longer have access to the following Southwyck 4 HOA facilities:
SOUTHWYCK IV ASSOCIATION FACILITIES
• Morgan Road Playground
• Baseball Fields
• Swimming Pool

We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to protect the quality, safety, and integrity of our community. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Silverlake HOA office.
Sincerely,
Silverlake HOA Board of Directors
