A Special Message from the Silverlake HOA Board of Directors

We are pleased to inform you that the board of directors of the Silverlake HOA now consists of all homeowners that were duly elected by you, the homeowners of Silverlake. According to the by-laws, the Silverlake Board of Directors is the sole governing body of the Association and shall have all the power and duty for the administration of the Association’s affairs. The Board of Directors are not to be paid for their services. The primary objective of the Silverlake HOA Board is to serve the community; it is this motivation that guides the leadership of the Silverlake HOA.

Our first and primary commitment is to keep Silverlake a desirable place to live. Your home is probably the single most expensive investment you will make. This Board is dedicated to keeping the Silverlake HOA area well groomed and beautiful. It is why you bought here and we want to insure it stays that way to keep up the value of your home. Our landscape company, Terra Management, takes great care of all the common areas. One of their jobs is to maintain over 2.3 million square feet of grass. This requires mowing, edging, fertilizing, and ant treatment, etc. It is a large undertaking.  Improvements and upkeep are always under way, to keep our community looking beautiful.

Your Board is also committed to strict enforcement of the deed restrictions. It is very important to enforce all deed restrictions and not just a selective few. Do not believe anyone who has told you to ignore letters you might have received on deed restriction violations. Our management company inspects all of the Silverlake HOA at least once a month, and reports are accepted by all homeowners. Please contact PCMI if you receive a violation letter and feel it is not justified or if you need time to work out a solution. The last thing this Board wants to do is turn any homeowner over to the lawyer for deed restriction violations, but if the letters are ignored it will be turned over for enforcement. This is the only way to keep the area beautiful and to insure your property values do not suffer.

With a fully elected Board in place, we now have the opportunity to build and maintain strong community involvement.  There is much to be cleaned up from previous Boards, and much has been done, but much also remains to be done.  If you have anything you'd like to ask or say to us, we welcome you to attend one of our monthly meetings at the Silverlake Clubhouse - please check the home page for the schedule.  You can also use the Contact Us page to send a message to PCMI and the Board.  We welcome any input, and look forward to working with you, the homeowners of our great community.
